Spain is a very popular holiday destination, the beautiful beaches, historic cities and Spanish culture attracts millions of tourists each year. Spain is the second most popular tourist destination in Europe, in 2016 almost 76 mill. tourists went to Spain. There is a reason for this; Spain has a very pleasant climate with lots of sunshine, warm weather and little rain, especially in the southern parts and on the islands. Most tourists visiting Spain would though go to one of the well-known holiday destinations such as Costa del Sol, Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands.
Spain has a lot of holiday attractions, like the lovely beaches, the beauty of the Spanish inland, the Sierra Nevada Mountains where you can go Skiing 8 months of the year, the fiestas, the bull fights, the restaurants, wine and tapas.
